Preferred Qualifications:

  • Loan Origination or Other Lending Experience, 1+ years (Preferred)
  • NMLS (Preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer aptitude/experience
  • Strong base of lending knowledge and credit markets
  • Ability to work well against time deadlines

Some Duties Included:

  • Develop relationships with realtors, builders, developers, and other professionals
  • Discuss Bank products and services with prospective customers
  • Ascertain applicants' concerns, needs, desires, and earnings
  • Evaluate the financial condition of the customer, the value of the proposed collateral, and the terms and conditions of the loan
  • Understand and apply bank lending policy guidelines while negotiating and make decisions on loans

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them with their banking needs and offering solutions to technical issues.

What You’ll Do:

  • Open both business and personal accounts, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our customers.
  • Be a trusted resource by recommending and cross-selling our diverse range of products and services to meet customers' needs.
  • Provide hands-on assistance at our concierge desk, helping customers with transactions and inquiries.
  • Document and update customer information with attention to detail, ensuring accurate records.
  • Stay up to date with the latest products, services, and banking trends to provide knowledgeable support to customers.

What We're Looking for:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service or a related field, with a passion for helping others.
  • Comfortable using computers and technology to assist customers and manage records.

Bonus Skills & Experience (Preferred But not required):

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • A team player who can also work independently and problem-solve in real-time.
  • A natural ability to build rapport with customers and create lasting, positive relationships.
  • A professional demeanor with a “can-do” attitude and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Connections Bank is seeking a Full-time Teller to join our dynamic team! This person will be responsible for helping customers by processing transactions and assisting with customer service inquiries. This position includes 40 hours per week with a Saturday morning rotation.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process transactions for customers (deposit, withdrawals, loan payments, etc.)
  • Daily balancing of cash drawer and vault.
  • Document and update customer records based on compliance regulations.
  • Respond to customer needs and inquiries in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
  • Cross-sell bank products & services when a need is identified.

Basic Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous work experience in banking industry or other related fields
  • Proficient in computer skills and keyboarding
  • Detail Oriented
  • Strong math and cash handling skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
